Sharing ideas and tips from our daily life for creating a home and life you love.
First, I just want to say how glad I am that you are here! It’s because of you that I want to share about our daily life. My goal is to share something I have learned that will help make your life easier in some way!
I enjoy being a “Jack of all trades,” type of person. . . or should I say a “Jill of all trades?.” Well, now you know that making jokes isn’t one of those skills!
I like to stay productively busy. I begin many projects, but at times find myself struggling to complete them because I have moved onto another interest.
Some of those interests are: cooking, crafting, organizing, teaching, natural healing, DIY home projects, and thrifty shopping. You will find me sharing about all of these things here.
You are sure to find something that will follow along with things you enjoy!
As you might guess, we live in Tennessee. I have lived in Tennessee my whole life. It’s a place I’m proud to call home.
I’m even more proud of this little house that we have made our own. We bought this ranch style house back in 2020 and have since put many hours of updates and renovations into it to make it our perfect little home.
My husband, Tommy and I, enjoy doing projects together and he is the perfect partner when it’s time to go frugal shopping. We have three precious kiddos. Two boys and one girl. At any given moment we probably have some type of project going on around here. Sometimes unplanned, but we enjoy doing things ourselves.
I had a pet squirrel as a kid. His name was Nutty Buddy.
I ran sprints in high school track.
My first car was a stick shift and I take pride in my ability to drive a stick, it’s not a very popular skill anymore.
For five years, I taught kindergarten before becoming a full time stay at home mom. I now am homeschooling my own children.
In middle school, I had my very own “key chain making” business. I took it very seriously. I even had business cards.
In high school I moved on from key chains to having a youtube channel with my best friend. We made silly videos as made up characters. No, I will not share these embarrassing videos with you. Haha!
